Elmoprint produces hot ink rotorprinter Elmo-roll for marking
of dates, batches and short text. Elmo-roll is a compact and
simple printer for mounting in packaging machines. Elmo-roll
is a fast and reliable printer for use, where the print on the
substrate must be readable, but need not to be of bookprinting
quality. The principal in hot ink roller printing is a transfer
of hot ink from a ink roller to the packaging film by means
of a heated rotating type holder, where the types by turn is
in contact with the ink roller and the packing film. When the
ink is transferred to the cold film, it quickly becomes dry.
Elmo-roll printers are produced in some variations, with different
means of control.

printer, driven by friction of a rubberwheel on the packing
film. This means that the printer will always print with
the same distance between prints. I.e. with 2 prints per
cycle, there will be approx. 80 mm between prints. |
